Only by obtaining the key to the handcuffs and fumbling to unlock them could I tear open the plastic bag. But how long could the air inside the bag sustain me? This challenge sounded both terrifying and exhilarating; I felt a mix of excitement and fear! Before the challenge, I went through three rounds of static warm-ups. This was to familiarize myself with the feeling of wearing handcuffs and locate the keyhole, and was also to gauge how long the air inside the bag could be breathed. The results were promising: I lasted about three minutes in the first two attempts, and in the third time, with a little push, I approached nearly four minutes. Should be enough time for me to unlock the handcuffs, right? The challenge began! In the first round, the key to the handcuffs was placed on the corner of a table. Wasn’t this a bit too easy? Carefully stepping ahead, turning, half crouching, I touched the corner of the table with my hands behind my back, and then I found the key. Unlocking was not a difficult task as I was already familiar with the keyhole position. So, after being sealed in the bag for two minutes, I freed myself. In the second round, the key was thrown on the ground, and I was directed to come over, sit down and search it. Darn, where’s the key? I seemed to have walked too far, and when I sat down, I inadvertently sat over the key. No wonder I couldn’t find it by searching the floor next to me. This consumed quite a bit of time, and it took me two minutes to get the key. My hands were already shaking, but luckily, I managed to complete the challenge with a bit of excitement but no danger. Apparently, oxygen is consumed more quickly when I was moving, and I shouldn’t expect that I could endure nearly four minutes like during the warm-up. Next came the most challenging final round. At this moment, my emotions were incredibly intense, a mix of anticipation and nervousness. I anticipated where the key would be placed by the master, but I was nervous about whether I may completely fail to find the key and rescue myself from this dire situation. Just as I was lost in thought, the final round began. The master quickly gave me instructions: the key is on the handrail of the stairs. What? How can a key be placed on this type of handrail? Before the game, I happened to observe this handrail, smooth and steep, with no designated position for placement. Shocked as I was, I immediately snapped out of it and walked towards the stairs. Time passed second by second, and the oxygen inside the bag diminished along with it. The difficulty of breathing increased gradually! In order to get the key on the handrail, I could only bend down, raise my hands cuffed behind me, and try to explore the location of the key bit by bit along the direction of the handrail. I tiptoed, twisted my hands into a position convenient for searching on the handrail, searching up and down several times. Fortunately, I finally found the key, but it seemed to be stuck. I didn’t have time to think too much and desperately pulled the key down. After this moment, my stamina was almost exhausted, the oxygen inside the bag was almost depleted, and the pervasive carbon dioxide made me suffer. My body couldn’t hold on anymore; I could only slowly slide down against the glass wall of the stairs and sit on the ground. Now that I had the key, as long as I persisted a little longer, I could open the handcuffs and be saved. But… where is the keyhole this time? Ah, the orientation of the handcuffs had changed this time, and the keyhole was not in its original position! I was very panicked, desperately trying to match the key with the keyhole but couldn’t get it right; I couldn’t unlock it! What should I do? Xiaomeng was wearing lingerie and blindfolded. Her chest, arms and legs were wrapped by cling film and her hands were tight behind her back. Three different items were used to bag her head. The first is with heat shrink bags for four times, and each time the bag wasn’t ripped open quickly. In the first and second times, a bag was tightly sealed by a black collar around her neck. In the third time, it was sealed by a pink collar after she was ball-gagged. The last time is similar, but I finally switched on a hair dryer and shrank the bag. A reduced air volume made her situation harder. After a short break, a semitransparent breathplay hood was put on Xiaomeng’s head.     32 minutes    		  Xiaoyu Training Escape Challenge and Punishment Blackouts - Time for Xiaoyu’s escape challenge again. The key item is still a breathplay hood with no hole, but the difference is that the air bag of this hood is very big. Counterintuitively, a hood with a big air bag is more difficult than a hood with a small air bag. This is because, unless the hood is sealed by extra strict ways around one’s neck, there is always some air leak for example through the gaps created by hair. When wearing a small hood and inhaling very hard, one can usually breathe in a little bit fresh air that leaks in. In contrast, since the capacity of the big hood is larger than the capacity of one’s lungs, her inhalation and exhalation are completely constrained inside the air bag. Even if there is a potential leak, there is no way for her to suck in air from outside. It becomes rebreathing of the same stale air in the strict sense. Because of this, Xiaoyu decided to carry out a CO₂ table training first to increase her chance of passing the challenge. There are four rounds of rebreathing under the breathplay hood, with the target time 2, 2.5, 3 and 3.5 minutes, and with 30 to 45 seconds of ventilation in between. When the 3-minute third round was finished, Xiaoyu’s body was already slightly twitching but she still decided to complete the 3.5-minute last round. At the end she went blackout and almost fell to the ground, but fortunately I was able to pull her back to the chair. Xiaoyu was reluctantly satisfied with the training, so the escape challenge began. Learning from the previous time, I only tied her hands behind her back, not her arms, otherwise she would have an extremely hard time raising her arms and putting the key to the lock on the collar. As a price of not tying arms, her feet were tied together. After a blindfold, the breathplay hood and a collar with a lock were put on her, Xiaoyu still had to sit and wait for the one-minute beep before she could start to break free her hands and feet, find the key on the floor, unlock the lock and the collar, and finally take off the hood to save herself. The process and the results? No, I don’t want to reveal too many details, but you may guess more or less with the following interview: ―I: You found the key so quickly in the first attempt. ―Xiaoyu: Of course, because you touched me accidentally when you put the key and I felt that, hahaha… ―I: That was cheating! So the result was not valid and we had to do it again. ―Xiaoyu: Where did you put the key in the second attempt? I’ve been searching for it for a long time, and I don’t remember if I ever touched it… ―I: You don’t remember? So you lost your memory again? ―Xiaoyu: Yes, did I blackout again? I don’t even remember when I lost my consciousness and when I regained it… ―I: Then what do you remember? ―Xiaoyu: I remember that you slapped my face again! Freeze, don’t run away! Anyway, failure is failure, so Xiaoyu must pass a 3.5-minute punishment under the same breathplay hood.
